STAKXCHANGE, the new commodities and futures trading game.

New York, NY February 15, 2004 - TRADING IS NOW FOR EVERYONE. Interpret sudden changes in International events! Witness economic trends have major impact on the American Exchanges! Follow commodity price fluctuations while progressing around the board! If you can survive today's chaotic International scene and build the largest portfolio of commodities, you will be declared the winner in the new trading game, STAKXCHANGE!

Do you wish to enter into the trading world without spending any money?
STAKXCHANGE mimics the trading activities of the commodities in the American markets. The size of the contracts and the amount of the deposits and price fluctuations are based on the real market so players feel like they're standing on the trading floor. Buy and sell commodities, and take advantage of the anticipated rise and fall of their prices to become the wealthiest player.

In 1989, Michel Leclerc began to sketch out a basis for a board game based on the markets of the Chicago and New York stock exchange. After many months of consultation with business and management advisors, Leclerc drew up a strategic business plan for the American market. After attending the International Toy Fair in New York City in 1998, Leclerc decided that he had a hit and the prototype of StakXChange was created.

"My idea was to make an intelligent game like…Monopoly, a profitable game like…Trivial Pursuit and a game with something special… Education! To learn while having fun, explains Leclerc!"

It's obvious why Leclerc would want to include education as a foundation for StakXChange. Leclerc graduated with degrees in Information Technology, Graphic Design, Publicity and Communications. On why he spent so many years in school: "I had completed studies in information technology so that I could grasp all opportunities created by computers. Afterward, I wanted to use my creativity and improve my skills in art. So I decided to continue my studies in graphic design and publicity."

Leclerc has worked as the Art Director in major advertising agencies of Québec and a partner in communication firms that focused on small and medium enterprises and retail trade firms. He has worked on many design publicities for companies including Molson, McDonald's, Ford and Chrysler. He is currently a Web Graphic Designer for Absolut.Net, a company offering solutions for electronic trade.

With all this experience in design and publicity, designing a board game was the next logical step. "My experience as well as a good share of ‘trendy' inspiration allowed me to produce this game of professional caliber. I have always been interested in people who invent from grand ideas that change people's habits, states Leclerc."

StakXChange has qualified for financial support from Canada Economic Development, a division of the Canadian Government (for the program Innovation, Entrepreneurship Development and Exportation for SME).

StakXChange will be available for $34.95. For more information visit the World Wide Web at www.stakxchange.com.
